Charming stay with a lovely pool area and friendly staff. Location is perfect, just off Duval, easy walk everywhere. A/C could be colder, woke up feeling warm. Great for bike tours and exploring nearby bars.

The location is perfect, just steps from bars and bike rentals. The pool area is lovely, but it can get crowded. WiFi dropped a few times, which was a hassle when trying to plan activities. Overall, a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

The pool area is a cozy escape where I relaxed every day. The staff are friendly and professional, plus the location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions.
No assistance with luggage was a bit of a hassle.

The suite was spacious, featuring a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable, though quite high. The kitchen had ample cupboard space, but I noticed missing items like a kitchen knife. The door to my room was tricky to lock, which affected my sense of security. Parking was free nearby, and I appreciated the availability of pool towels. the lack of breakfast offerings felt like an oversight for the price.

We had a really rough time at our place. The owner was incredibly rude and kicked us out for playing quiet music by the pool. We were just relaxing, and he had the audacity to stalk us and threaten eviction. Unbelievable!

The room was huge and spotlessly clean! The friendly staff always had great tips for places to eat and visit.
It was on the pricier side, but worth every penny.

Quiet yet conveniently close to Duval Street. The spacious room had a lovely balcony, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for unwinding in the afternoon sun, with complimentary towels and drinks nearby. the room's cleanliness could use more attention, and the air conditioning units were noisy at night. Friendly check-in staff and great walking access to restaurants and attractions made it a pleasant stay, though a few amenities felt outdated. A mixture of charm and some room for improvement.

Douglas House in Key West offers a unique and secluded experience. The pool area and tropical gardens are beautifully maintained, providing a perfect relaxation spot. While the check-in process felt excessive, the delightful host Rod and comfortable loft bedroom made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Just a block off Duval Street, we found it super easy to walk to all the nearby attractions like the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and the Ernest Hemingway Home which were both just a quick stroll away, and exploring the charming shops and dining spots nearby made our stay so enjoyable; plus the heated pool and relaxing tropical gardens added to the experience, but the pool decking could use some attention to ensure safety for walking barefoot.

This property has a charming, village-like appeal with spacious, well-equipped rooms. Its central location is unbeatable—just steps from shops, restaurants, and local attractions. the overall experience was marred by inconsistencies. Staff can be unfriendly, and communication could be clearer about parking and room features. The room was clean but lacked privacy; the bathroom's setup needs revising. Expect outdated furniture and maintenance issues, like a loud A/C and broken blinds. A hidden cleaning fee caught us off guard—transparency is key. For the price, better options exist nearby. With just a few adjustments, this place could be truly exceptional.

Loved the charming inn near Duval Street. Walked to attractions and had the staff arrange fun activities. Enjoyed the Victorian building, garden, and complimentary drinks. A great oasis that balances tranquility and convenience.
More towels would have been too extravagant.

The location was perfect for walking to cafes and shops on Duval St loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The pool area was peaceful and had complimentary tea and coffee.
Beds were creaky and uncomfortable, causing restless sleep. Limited room amenities, such as missing kitchen items, were not provided for by the front desk, impacting the overall experience.

Our room had an awesome private balcony overlooking Duval St, perfect for chill hangouts. Carlos and Kim were total legends, hooking us up with deets on rad parties and cool spots. The location was lit, letting us hit up hot spots like Sloppy Joe's and Mallory Square in a flash.
Only downside was wishing for a bigger pool for more party vibes.

During my recent stay, I truly appreciated the strategic location just off the main street, allowing easy access to all the local attractions. The personalized letter received before arrival gave great tips on must-visit spots around the area. having a dedicated parking space made it hassle-free to come and go as I pleased.
Sadly, the water pressure in the room was not the best, which made showering a bit of a challenge at times.

The heating in our room was efficient and kept us warm during the cooler evenings, which was a plus. The air conditioning, however, was a bit noisy in the bedroom, but we eventually got used to the sound. One feature we particularly enjoyed was the availability of tea and coffee facilities. It was nice to have access to free tea and coffee throughout the day, making it convenient for a quick pick, me, up. The sitting area in our apartment was cozy and provided a nice spot to relax after a long day of exploring Key West. The terrace in our apartment was a lovely touch, giving us a nice outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine. we did notice that the garden furniture could use some maintenance as it looked a bit worn out. the bathroom amenities provided free toiletries, which was a nice touch, but we felt that the room could benefit from an upgrade in this area. While there was no washing machine or dryer in our apartment, the staff offered laundry service, which was convenient for longer stays. The kitchen was well, equipped with cookware and utensils, making it easy for us to prepare meals during our visit. A small suggestion would be to provide more electric kettles as we found only one in our unit. The flat, screen TV in our room was a nice addition, and we appreciated the variety of channels available for entertainment. we did notice that the carpeted floor looked a bit worn in some areas and could use a deep cleaning. our experience at Douglas House was pleasant, with friendly staff and a great location near popular attractions. We hope these insights provide helpful details considering a stay at this property.

Wonderful pool area with strong coffee and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the room was small with a soft mattress, and the walls were thin. I'll recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hidden oasis in Key West was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The separate bedroom and spacious living area with a settee were a great bonus, providing plenty of room for relaxation. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. We also appreciated the allotted car park, even though it required a short walk from the accommodation.
Limited parking availability, especially for late-night arrivals.

The location of Douglas House was perfect for my visit to the Southernmost Point of the United States, just 5 minutes' walk away. I was pleasantly surprised to find an ongoing effort to enhance services for guests with disabilities, and I also liked that all beverages on the list were available between 9AM – 9PM.
Weak wifi signal, hardly mattered.
Excellent
